I remember I was once told that Malaysians are lovely bunch until you seen them drive.
Sadly, it's truth.
But worse, we are the products of the consequences of the actions of others.
Today, on my way rushing to meet my dental appointment, I found out a stalled truck have blocked one lane of the only exit out of the town. It had resulted in massive crawl. It took me 30 mins on a 5 mins drive to get into the highway.
While i got stuck, i began to think. On waze there are people commenting this incidents had happened few times before.
So.... Can we, prevent it? Can we, do something about it.
Hell Yes.
1. Truck, broke down:
Government should implement a annual check-ups for all trucks. Givens there won't be bribery. It should reduce the chances of random broke down on the road.
2. One of two lanes were blocked.
Police should be deployed. To allowed car to enter also on the opposite lane.
But can we, normal humble drivers, do anything?
Sadly, there really isn't much to do
You can make decision to take a break, go for lunch nearby, wait it to sort out,
or do a U-turn and try MEX highway...
We are mere mortals and I wish to fly
BTW>>>
First wisdom tooth extraction.
Drove there myself. Did the surgery and drove home.
I guess there were a reason I stay in long-distance relationship.
Oh well
